Italian-Canadian Soprano, Jessica Scarlato is a sought after performer for many events and occasions throughout Canada and Europe. She received her master's degree in Opera Performance at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University and continued her studies and training at the Istituzione Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di A. Belli, in Spoleto Italy; The Renata Scotto Opera Program, in Naples, Florida, and The Accademia Europea Dell'Opera (AEDO), in Lucca, Italy, to name a few. Her opera roles include: Donna Elvira, Don Giovanni (Opera McGill); The Governess, The Turn of the Screw (Opera McGill); Fiordiligi, Cosi fan tutte (AEDO); La Contessa Le Nozze di Figaro (AEDO).

Founded in 2019, The Gaudeamus Ensemble is comprised of contemporary vocalist Angelina Gulla, Mezzo-Soprano Danielle MacMillan and Soprano Jessica Scarlato. The origins of this group began as young children starting their music education through Centro Scuola's music programs, at the Columbus Centre in Toronto. Many years later, and now with successful careers in music and music education, the ladies of the Gaudeamus Ensemble have come together to share the stage and their talents with you all. Their Soft Launch Concert in September of 2019 at the Jospeh D. Carrier Art Gallery Rotonda, in the Columbus Centre, was sold out to an enthusiastic crowd. This performance was followed by their Christmas Concert:The Spirit of Christmas in December 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in King City, ON. Please continue to follow our journey.
